Meet Dr. Torres
Hi, I’m Dr. Yoendry Torres, a bilingual, bicultural licensed clinical psychologist providing telehealth services to teens and adults in Arizona and PsyPACT states.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, existential psychology, family systems, and logotherapy. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel understood, and develop practical ways to cope and move forward.
In addition to clinical work, I have experience supporting individuals in high-demand academic, athletic, and professional environments. This background informs my work while keeping mental health, balance, and well-being at the center of care.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support, therapy can help. I aim to provide a supportive, culturally responsive space where meaningful change feels possible.

Q & A
What types of mental health issues do you treat?
At Intuition Wellness Center PLLC, Dr. Torres specializes in treating anxiety and depressive disorders in both teens and adults. Dr. Torres also provides support for those dealing with stress, burnout, life transitions, and other emotional challenges.
What therapeutic approaches do you use?
Our approach is integrative, meaning we tailor our therapy to fit each client’s unique needs. We incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, positive psychology, existential psychology, family systems, and logotherapy to help clients achieve lasting change.
How can therapy help with anxiety?
Therapy can provide you with tools to manage anxiety by helping you understand and change the thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to it. Techniques like mindfulness and CBT are particularly effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety and improving your overall quality of life.
What should I expect during my first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and any symptoms you may be experiencing. From there, we’ll work together to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs.
How long does therapy usually take?
The length of therapy varies depending on the individual and the nature of the issues being addressed. Some clients see significant improvement in just a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term support. We’ll regularly review your progress to ensure your therapy is effective and meets your goals.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, your privacy is extremely important to us. All therapy sessions are confidential, and we adhere to strict ethical standards to protect your personal information. There are a few exceptions to confidentiality, such as situations involving harm to yourself or others, which we will discuss in detail during your first session.
Can therapy help with depression?
Absolutely. Therapy can be highly effective in treating depression by helping you explore the underlying causes, change negative thought patterns, and develop coping strategies. Our integrative approach also focuses on helping you find meaning and purpose, which can be crucial in overcoming depressive symptoms.
Do you offer online therapy sessions?
Yes, we offer in-person and online therapy sessions (telehealth) to accommodate your schedule and preferences. Online therapy provides the same level of care and confidentiality as in-person sessions and is a convenient option for those with busy lifestyles.
How do I know if I need therapy?
If you’re experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, or stress, or if you’re struggling to cope with life’s challenges, therapy can be a valuable resource. It’s not necessary to wait until a crisis occurs; therapy can also be beneficial for personal growth and improving overall mental wellness.
How much does therapy cost?
Fees
- Clinical Intake: $200/hr
- Therapy Sessions: $165/hr
- Case Management: $41.25/15 minutes
Do you take health insurance?
Dr. Torres does not accept health insurance due to the limitations insurance companies place on treatment, the administrative burden it creates for providers, and the increased autonomy it allows for client treatment. However, we can provide superbills so clients can attempt to get reimbursed from their health insurance plan.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by contacting us directly through our website or by calling our office (520-333-3320). We offer flexible scheduling options to fit your needs, including evening and weekend appointments.
